The practice of selfless love is not something Rei Altru Claims to have mastered but it is definitely the end goal. Loving selflessly and forgiving and spreading positive messages to the world that can spark a notion or change a notion is exactly what the world needs. All things promoting love and peace can be heard and seen from Rei Altru. Planning to spread good messages through speakers and subs and not false claims of fame and fortune.

Coming from a christian background Rei Altru has indulged in Love and Peace for as long as she can remember. Growing up in church and being in the choir helped nurture the talent as it was still in its infancy. Developing her voice and talent she grew to become a very multifaceted individual. Growing up on Texas soil with Louisiana culture pouring from the cracks, Rei Altru gathered knowledge and appreciation for the music world through her Father (Calvin Ray). Who is also the inspiration to the name "Rei". Growing up with her father in a funk band and Mother (Donna) having experience in a singing group called "The 6 degrees"; ultimately Rei was subconsciously guided into her craft.

Musically inclined with deep melodic alto vocals addicted to Funk infested Mellow tunes; are a combination of flavors that all capture Ms. Rei Altru. With Louisiana culture spread so heavy on this Texas Native it was only right that she have some soul in her music artistry. Rei captures her fans through soft ambient sounds of Neo Soul and hip hop. When asked what kind of music Rei enjoys her response is always this "all things funky and/or mellow." Growing up to a very diverse range of music, Rei holds no contempt to any genre of music. From Jazz and Country to Hip Hop and metal; she indulges in any music without hesitation.

When visiting Rei in concert she asked that you come with two things
